Finding YouTube Alternatives for Larger File Upload and Earn Income

If you have uploaded a couple video files to YouTube, you should be well aware that the maximum file size you could upload is only 100MB.  Even though YouTube set the benchmark for the most popular video sharing sites it has its own shortfall.  If you are internet marketer that use videos to promote your product or your site, you might probably have some video that are longer than 10 minutes or larger than 100 MB.  And this is where it gets frustrating because when you're running an online marketing.  File limitations just plain sucks!

So far there are two video sharing sites that are still accepting video uploads larger than 100 MB.  And in the internet world things could change quickly, maybe sometime later on they will start limiting files uploads also.  There are probably more video sites out there accepting bigger file uploads, but check back here once in awhile because you will get the update here.

1.  Google Video - it accepts video format of AVI, MPEG, Quicktime, Real, and Windows Media.  You will need to use and download their Google Uploader.   Before uploading your video to Google, they recommend that you encode your video files using mpeg-2 or mpeg-4 codecs with mp3 audio.  It could even accept videos longer than 1 hour long playback.

YouTube and Google Video have merged but don't get misled that you could also upload bigger file in YouTube.  The 100MB limit applies only to YouTube.

2.  FreeIQ -  this YouTube alternative site really separate from it from the rest of the video sharing sites that ever existed.  When it comes to uploading video file limits...NO LIMITS!  Huh?  Too good to be true but it goes beyond any internet marketer's expectation on what FreeIQ would do for service.

You have a file more that's larger than 100MB, no problem just upload it via FTP.  You could upload just about any video format of your choice.  And this could be just about any theme whether it's Instructional videos/DVD, videotaped seminars/meetings, marketing program preview/teasers, personal videos, etc.

Let's say that you have a DVD and you don't know how to extract the content, simple…mail the DVD to FreeIQ and they will extract and post your video for your, FREE!

Once you have realized that there are YouTube alternatives, you could say and be ready to "Kiss YouTube Goodbye".     Enjoy the video.
