Save Your Own Streaming Video - you need to create your own video first. First thing you need to ask yourself is what type of video do you have? If it's a video recorded from a camcorder or a webcam and if you're all satisfied with your production, then just upload your file to your site.
If the video you made is like a computer presentation you need a software to capture that presentation and convert it to a video file. For the video tutorial on how to do this and get a FREE video capture software, click here.
Saving Streaming Video from Video Hosting Sites - you will need a video downloader if you want to save streaming videos that are posted in video sites like YouTube, Google Video, FreeIQ, Revver, etc. Go to "How Save Streaming Video from YouTube..etc." to watch the step-by-step video tutorial.
There are two FREE software that you could use to save streaming video from video sharing sites:
- Video Downloader from Google - this software allows you to save streaming videos from most video sharing sites . Go to the "Lists of Best Video Sharing Sites" for more video sharing sites available over the net. The main hangup with this software is the site sometime is not realiable enough when it's getting massive traffic. The saved videos will be in FLV format. You have to know how to convert it to other formats if you prefer other video format.
- YouTube Downloader - this software only allows to save streaming videos from YouTube.
