So How Many Ways You Could Save Streaming Video?

Saving streaming video could be synonymous to dowloading or even capturing streaming video.  In fact, these process have couple of ways to do it.  The good news is that most of them are easy to do.  It could be daunting or even too intimidating sometime especially for the newbies when it comes to hosting your own streaming video in your own blog or site.

You could save streaming video from your own computer.  What you do first is create your own video and then post it over the net.  You could either upload it to your own server or upload it to video sharing sites like YouTube, FreeIQ or Revver…etc  The advantage of uploading your streaming video to common video sites is you could save a bundle of space.  Streaming videos take a lot of space and bandwidth as well. 

Save Your Own Streaming Video -  you need to create your own video first.  First thing you need to ask yourself is what type of video do you have? If it's a video recorded from a camcorder or a webcam and  if you're all satisfied with your production, then just upload your file to your site.

There are two FREE software that you could use to save streaming video from video sharing sites:

1. Video Downloader from Google - this software allows you to save streaming videos from most video sharing sites .   Go to the "Lists of Best Video Sharing Sites" for more video sharing sites available over the net.  The main hangup with this software is the site sometime is not realiable enough when it's getting massive traffic.  The saved videos will be in FLV format.  You have to know how to convert it to other formats if you prefer other video format.
2.
